A team led by the White House Domestic Policy Council, in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture and Department of Health and Human Services, sought to organize the White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health to galvanize action from both public and private-sector advocates around its National Strategy on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health. This historic gathering in Washington, DC, brought together more than 600 stakeholders, from anti-hunger advocates to government officials, under the leadership of President Biden and key Cabinet members, to forge a united front against hunger and health disparities.
Lumina Corps played a pivotal role in orchestrating this landmark event, employing a holistic strategy that seamlessly blended in-person and digital experiences for thousands of attendees. Our support spanned strategic planning, event logistics, security coordination with the U.S. Secret Service, media coordination, digital innovation, and comprehensive multimedia content production.
We transformed the venue into a vibrant hub of collaboration and dialogue, facilitated by state-of-the-art live streaming and a dynamic conference app designed to maximize engagement and accessibility. A team of more than 50 supported the on-site experience.
Through careful coordination and innovative solutions, Lumina Corps was instrumental in amplifying the conference’s impact, ensuring the dissemination of critical discussions and outcomes to a wide audience. Our efforts underscored a commitment to advancing the national conversation on hunger, nutrition, and health, marking a significant step toward transformative change.
