Purpose

We believe that strategic, purposeful communications and research can inspire learning, action, and bring about positive change in our world. We partner with agencies and organizations whose missions inspire us through their service to progress in health, science, and well-being.

History

Lumina Corps was formed with the purpose of bringing effective, best-in-class communications, research strategies and program support to organizations whose missions inspire us.  We were formerly known as NOVA Research Company, a firm with a rich, 35-year history serving the biomedical communications, research and events management needs of health and science agencies.

In 1986, experienced biomedical researcher Peggy Young, MS., formed her own company, with the goal of serving scientific programs. In over 35 years as a certified Women-Owned Small Business, NOVA built a reputation for excellence and expertise which continues on with Lumina Corps. In 2022, Ms. Young sold NOVA to Beth Maloney.
